Welcome to the Pack 98 Web Site!

It’s yours to enjoy so start exploring!

Pack 98 is dedicated to a lively Cub Scout experience with activities that capture the interest of youth yet are fun for the entire family. Our Cub Scouts learn essential skills and enjoyment of outdoor activities, community involvement, personal safety, sports, and the environment. Pack 98 is a group of about 70 Scouts and their families.  Chartered by the First United Methodist Church we work with youth from several Fort Collins area schools. We generally meet at the church on Thursdays at 7 PM.

Haunted Weekends at Camp Nicol, October 19-21 and 26-28

This is a fun, family weekend chock full of activities with a Halloween theme.  Carve pumpkins, nature hikes, games galore, shooting sports, costume contest and of course the HAUNTED CASTLE!  There are two versions of the Haunted Castle, the very mild version for the younger scouts and the slightly scarier version for older Cub Scouts.  You can participate with your whole family or you can come with your pack or den, or just a Cub and parent!  There are options to camp on Friday and/or Saturday nights – bring your own camping equipment.  (There will be some tents available for those who do not have their own.  Be sure to select that option in the “Classes” tab on your registration.)   For those who camp on Friday Night, we will provide the added bonus of breakfast on Saturday morning; for those who camp Saturday night we will provide breakfast on Sunday morning (camp both nights and get breakfast both days).  Check-in Friday from 6-9 PM or Saturday from 7-9 AM.  (You must be check-in by 9 PM Friday to get breakfast on Saturday.)  Check-out by 10 AM on Sunday.  The fee is $35 for youth 5-17, $20 for adults 18 and up, 4 and under are free! For more information, please visit https://longspeakbsa.org/programs/camps-camping/nicol-cub-camp/fall-weekends-jack-nicol-cub-camp/.
